How eSIM Works
A complete guide to understanding, buying, and activating your eSIM for Bali. No technical knowledge required.
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built directly into your phone. Instead of inserting a tiny physical card into a tray, you simply scan a QR code to download your cellular plan.
It works exactly like a traditional SIM card -- providing you with mobile data, and in some cases voice calls and SMS -- but without the physical card. This means:
- No need to visit a SIM card shop at the airport
- No tiny cards to lose or damage
- Activate before you even board your flight
- Keep your home SIM active simultaneously
- Switch between plans without swapping cards

Check Your Device Compatibility
Before purchasing, make sure your phone supports eSIM. Most iPhones from XS (2018) onwards support eSIM. Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and many other modern Android phones also support it. If you are unsure, send us your phone model on WhatsApp and we will confirm.

Choose Your Data Plan
Browse our plans and pick the one that matches your trip. For a week-long holiday, the Tourist 7-Day plan (5GB) is great. For digital nomads staying a month, consider Unlimited 30 Days or the Business Plan. All plans include coverage across Bali and all of Indonesia.

Order on WhatsApp
Send us a WhatsApp message with your chosen plan. We respond within minutes with payment instructions. Pay via bank transfer, GoPay, OVO, Dana, Wise, or PayPal. Once payment is confirmed, we send your QR code immediately.

Scan the QR Code
On iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Use QR Code. On Android: Go to Settings > Network > SIMs > Add eSIM. Point your camera at the QR code we sent you. Your phone downloads the eSIM profile automatically.

You Are Connected
Within minutes, your eSIM is active and you have mobile data in Bali. Your home SIM stays active on the other line, so you can still receive calls and texts from home. If you need any help, we are available 24/7 on WhatsApp.
